She holds a Master’s degree in Public Policy and Management from Strathmore University and has completed specialized training at University College London’s Institute for Global Prosperity. Salome brings a blend of academic depth and practical expertise to her work, with a proven track record in designing and implementing policies that are both inclusive and effective.
Her areas of expertise include gender responsive policy development, stakeholder engagement, sustainable development, and systems strengthening across sectors such as health, climate justice, and energy. Salome has led national research projects, authored key reports like Kenya’s Energy and Petroleum Data Statistics, and facilitated multistakeholder forums that elevate the voices of women, youth, and marginalized communities. She is especially skilled at translating research and data into actionable strategies that drive tangible, lasting change. At the heart of her work is a passion for building equitable systems and ensuring that policy solutions reflect the realities of those most affected.
